What is snake weakness?

As everything living in this world has some weaknesses, Snakes also are part of this world and they also have weaknesses, which are listed here.

• One of the major weaknesses of snakes is cold. Snakes are ectothermic animals, which means they need external sources of heat to regulate body temperature, so cold weather can be dangerous for snakes because they are ectothermic animals.
• The snakes are very susceptible to a wide range of diseases, including Infection.
• In captivity, sudden disturbances and incorrect handling of snakes can cause them to stress very readily, making them more susceptible to stress.
• Since snakes move at a very slow pace, they cannot escape predator attacks very easily.
• Snakes do not have many options in the way of defense mechanisms when they are attacked by predators. Their only defense mechanism is their bite.
• A variety of predators, including birds and mammal species, prey upon snakes.
